在留資格認定証明書交付申請

(Application for Certificate of Eligibility)

　外国に居住する外国人の方が、就職、結婚、留学などで日本国に入国するためには、まず、就職先、配偶者、学校などが入国管理局に在留資格認定証明書の交付申請をします。

　In order for a foreigner to enter Japan due to employment, marriage, study etc, the employment place, spouse, school, etc. apply firstly to the Immigration Bureau to issue a Certificate of Eligibility. 

　在留資格認定証明書が交付されたら、本人に送付し、本人が管轄の日本大使館または領事館に査証(VISA)の申請をします。

　When the Certificate of Eligibility is issued, it is sent to the him/her and the he/she applies for a visa to the Japanese embassy or consulate in charge.

在留資格変更・在留期間更新許可申請

( Application for Change of Status of Residence and Extension of Period of Stay)

　就職や結婚によって在留資格が変わる場合や、在留期間を延長する場合です。

　It is a case where the status of residence changes due to employment or marriage, or to extend the period of stay.

在留資格取得許可申請・その他

(Application for Permission to Acquire Status of Residence)

　日本で子供が生まれた場合などは、30日以内に申請を行うことによって、簡易に在留資格の取得ができます。

　For example, when a child is born in Japan, you can easily acquire a status of residence by applying within 30 days.

永住許可申請

(Application for Permanent Residence)

　日本に長く居住している場合、一定の要件を満たす方は、以後も安定して日本に居住するために、永住許可申請が可能です。

 If you live in Japan for a long time and who fulfills certain requirements, you can apply for permanent residence permanently in order to live in Japan steadily.

　永住許可申請できるまでの期間は、原則は、継続して１０年、うち、就労資格で５年以上の期間日本に在住していることです。また、在留期間が３年以上の許可を得ていなければなりません。

　In principle, the period until permission for permanent residence can be applied is to live in Japan for a period of 10 years continuously and for a work visa of 5 years or more. Also, you must acquire permission of 3 years or longer of your period of stay.

　交通違反なんかも許可の可否に影響がありますので、永住したいと思われたら、自動車の運転など慎重にしてください。
